April 2nd is World Autism Awareness Day—more and more people are beginning to recognize and understand autism, and more individuals and social organizations are reaching out to this special group, with the NBA being one of them.
In recent years, the NBA Cares initiative has organized a group of Special Olympics children to participate in basketball activities, and this year is no exception. At the NBA "Special Olympics Unified Basketball Day" in Shanghai KC Basketball Park, a group of high school students from international schools had the opportunity to hold the hands of these "children of the stars" and learn about everything about them.
Basketball connects two groups that have no intersection, just as one high school student said, "Basketball is really a bridge."
